Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our dynamic Taphouse and grill team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, knowledge of craft beers and excellent customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience. As a Bartender/Server, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, serving in the restaurant area, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Interact with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Handle cash and process transactions using POS systems, such as Union POS. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations within the food service industry. Assist in banquet services or special events as required, ensuring smooth operations during peak times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred; experience in a restaurant setting is a plus. Knowledge of cocktail recipes, drink preparation techniques, and bar equipment usage. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is advantageous. Must possess valid food handling certification or be willing to obtain it upon hiring. Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol. Weekends are required.
