Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bartender &/or Server to join our team during the busy holiday season. Immediate shifts available. This opening runs through the holiday season, potentially into January. We host many corporate parties during the holidays and need extra hands on deck to make things run smoothly. These are banquet & open bar type events with great earnings potential. You can make extra holiday cash fast!

Responsibilities

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies. Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining knowledge of retail math. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Uphold food safety standards by following proper sanitation practices. Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service expectations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality. Knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits is a plus. Time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team-oriented atmosphere.
