Bartender/Mixologist

Duties

Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with flair and accuracy, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drink options, and create personalized experiences that keep them coming back. Maintain a clean, organized bar area by adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Manage POS systems such as Spot On POS for efficient order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service during busy hours. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and adhering to legal alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with team members during service shifts, including nightclubs or potential catering events, to deliver seamless customer service in high-energy settings. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the serving process. Assist in catering events or food service operations when required, supporting overall venue operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mixologist or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Spot On POS and other POS for sales processing and cash handling. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety. Experience working in the food industry or retail environment is preferred; brewing or catering experience is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or nightlife functions.
