We are seeking an energetic and opersonable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In New BAR & GRILL at the former location of Tiki Docks-CAMBRIA HOTEL Madeira Beach . Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them through our drink menu with enthusiasm and professionalism Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times Manage cash handling accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments swiftly and correctly Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about drinks or menu items, and create a lively atmosphere Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth operations without delays Follow all food safety guidelines related to food handling, serving alcohol responsibly, and maintaining a safe environment for both guests and staff Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery in high-volume settings such as nightclubs or special events Utilize your time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail in every order Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by monitoring guest consumption and intervening when necessary

Skills

Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings with strong knowledge of food industry standards Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales transactions and cash handling Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele in a friendly and professional manner Strong knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management and organizational skills Basic math skills for accurate cashiering, retail math calculations, and bill splitting Experience in catering or large event service is highly desirable for managing high-volume situations smoothly Familiarity with brewing processes can be an added advantage for craft beer offerings Knowledge of the food industry's best practices related to serving beverages responsibly in various hospitality environments
