Job Description
Summary
As a Host/Host at Crafty Crab at Woodbridge, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your role is crucial in managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in our bustling restaurant.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper sanitation practices. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Basic math skills for managing tabs and processing payments. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
