Essential Job Duties:
Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
Execute cocktail menu to exact specification with detail and care
Use provided tools/equipment as directed by bar management
Present extensive backbar knowledge when requested by the guest
Provide detailed information on menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
Take accurate food and beverage orders
Serve food and beverages in an elegant and timely manner
Maintain an organized work space and cleanliness throughout service
Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns
Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
Assist with special requests and dietary requirements
Uphold the highest standards of etiquette and service protocols
Work closely with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure seamless service
Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Other duties as assigned
Skills / Knowledge Required:
1-3 years of previous experience as a bartender required
Experience in a craft cocktail beverage program preferred
Upscale dining or high-end restaurant experience/sensibility preferred
Intermediate levels of wine/spirits knowledge considered, though advanced/specialized knowledge in these areas, preferred
Willingness to learn and attend supplemental staff trainings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a commitment to hospitality
Professional appearance and demeanor
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Able to work in a standing position for long periods
