Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring each drink meets quality standards and presentation expectations Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to build rapport and enhance their experience Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to accurately process orders, payments, and tips Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times Monitor guest consumption responsibly, recognizing signs of intoxication and taking appropriate action Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service flow Handle cashing out customers accurately through cashiering procedures and basic math calculations Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at banquets or catering events Uphold all health regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and sanitation standards Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews

Skills

Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without sacrificing quality Knowledge of food handling safety standards and alcohol serving regulations Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus for special event support Familiarity with brewing processes or beverage crafting enhances your ability to recommend drinks confidently Basic math skills for quick calculations related to sales, tips, or change-making Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and management

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
