As a Bartender at Diamondback Music Hall, you're the face of our bar operation. You'll be responsible for efficient, accurate, and responsible service in a high-volume setting, especially during peak concert times. This is a
Part-Time
position with a flexible schedule, primarily requiring
nights, weekends, and late hours
based on our event calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Volume Service:
Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a large volume of patrons in a fast-paced, loud environment.
Customer Interaction:
Greet guests with a positive, friendly demeanor, take orders, process payments accurately using a POS system, and resolve any guest issues promptly.
Responsible Service:
Strictly adhere to all local and state liquor laws, including checking IDs and recognizing and managing intoxicated guests courteously and safely.
Bar Management:
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized bar and prep area. Perform opening, running, and closing duties, including cash handling, inventory management, and restocking.
Teamwork:
Collaborate closely with barbacks, security, and management to ensure smooth operations and guest safety throughout the venue.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
1+ years
of high-volume bartending experience (music venue, nightclub, or similar fast-paced environment preferred).
Current
Responsible Alcohol Service Certification
(e.g., TIPS, ServSafe, or local equivalent).
Excellent cash handling and POS system proficiency.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including
late nights, weekends, and holidays
.
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift or move up to 25 lbs.
Preferred:
Experience in a live music venue environment.
Knowledge of standard drink recipes and ability to pass a pour test/mixology drill.
Experience recognizing valid IDs.
Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18.0 - 35.0 per week
