Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, beverage carts, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards Engage with guests proactively to enhance their experience through friendly conversation and personalized recommendations Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately while processing payments swiftly Restock supplies regularly on beverage carts or bar stations to ensure seamless service throughout shifts Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light meals at events or on-site venues

Requirements

Proven experience in food service, fine dining, nightclub environments, or banquet settings is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or beverage carts efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations Previous experience in catering or hospitality roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when restocking supplies
