We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Prior experience with Toast POS systems is preferred, along with strong multitasking abilities and a thorough understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Engage with guests in a friendly manner to enhance their overall experience
Manage POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and billing
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, banquets, or catering events
Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve multiple guests efficiently without compromising service quality
Assist in setting up for special events or private functions as required
Skills
Proven experience in food and beverage service environments such as restaurant, nightclub, banquet, or catering settings
Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during busy periods
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and retail math calculations
Experience with food handling, serving, and beverage preparation techniques in the food industry
Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous hospitality or restaurant experience is highly desirable
Knowledge of brewing processes or beverage trends is a plus
