Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Engage with guests to ensure a positive experience, offering recommendations and answering questions about drinks and menu items
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for orders and payments
Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently using excellent time management skills
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and drink measurements
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced setting
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously without compromising quality
Experience with serving at banquets or catering events is preferred
Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting is advantageous
