Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a lively atmosphere and promote sales of beverages and related products. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with integrity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times. Monitor guest consumption responsibly, recognizing signs of intoxication and taking appropriate action to ensure safety. Collaborate with team members to coordinate serving at events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring seamless service delivery. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple guests promptly while maintaining high-quality standards. Uphold all food safety standards and alcohol service regulations in compliance with local laws. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders when necessary. Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and fostering excellent customer service experiences.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bartender or in food service roles within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, brewing techniques, and food safety practices related to the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Demonstrated ability in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions, and proper change calculation. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations; certifications preferred but not required. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days such as banquets or nightlife shifts. Knowledge of food handling procedures relevant to the hospitality industry; experience in catering or retail math is a plus.
