Dougla Kitchen is home to OKC's first James Beard Award-winning Chef, Andrew Black. Located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, Dougla Kitchen serves as the perfect venue for the right individual to be challenged, and flourish, in the hospitality industry.

Job Summary

:

Bartenders prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. They may also make their own drink recipes and accoutrements. In addition to beverage production, Bartenders also provide food service and hospitality to all guests of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the restaurant for service with proper cleaning and setup.

Maintain a high level of knowledge in food and beverage.

Greet guests and initiate service, following a carefully curated service plan.

Provide efficient and professional service with a focus on providing unique and engaging hospitality.

Prepare craft cocktails to the recipe specifications provided.

Ensure the safe service of alcohol by following all state and federal laws / regulations.

Deliver dishes at each course, offering a detailed explanation of each item.

Clear dishes in a clean and orderly manner.

Work effectively within a team.

Break down and clean the restaurant after each service.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

Ability to memorize and retain large amounts of information.

Excellent time management skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.

Education and Experience

:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1-2 years of restaurant experience preferred.
