Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, process payments efficiently, and handle cash handling responsibilities with precision. Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions about menu items, and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations. Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills while ensuring prompt service during busy hours. Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering events, banquets, or nightclub service to deliver seamless hospitality experiences. Uphold all food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies to promote a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments; previous restaurant experience is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while multitasking efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and retail math for sales tracking. Experience with serving at large events like banquets or catering functions is a plus.
