Town House Kitchen + Drinks is looking for creative and caring team members.

Essential duties and function of a server/bartender:

Take orders accurately and serve guests food and drinks (including alcohol)

Describe food and beverage menus, offering recommendations

Ensure allergy procedures are adhered to in order to keep guests safe

Processing payments including POS operation and accurate cash handling

Answering the phone to process reservations and to go orders

Basic cleaning and stocking, including beer kegs, as part of routine sidework before, during and after service periods

Preparing the restaurant for service or special events

Breaking down the restaurant from service or special events

Provide courteous, positive, and pleasant guest service at all times

Assisting other staff members contributing to a positive team environment

Respectfully communicating with management and other staff members (including kitchen), regarding any issues, failures, or deficiencies.

Able to walk / stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overhead

Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs.

We are open for dinner service seven days a week and soon, weekend brunches. Open availability preferred with flexibility for weekends and holidays ideal. Dress professionally and join the team!

Summary



As a Restaurant Server and Bartender, you will be integral to delivering outstanding customer experiences in a vibrant dining atmosphere. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will utilize your core skills in POS systems, food service, and food safety to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a clean environment. Your premium skills, including fine dining experience and collaboration with sales, will enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue. With relevant skills in food preparation and guest services, you will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service and memorable dining experiences.

Qualifications



Proven experience in food service and restaurant operations Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Proficient in POS systems, including Aloha, Micros or Toast Knowledge of food safety and handling practices Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience in fine dining and culinary settings is a plus Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
