Bar Manager



Position Summary:



As the Bar Manager at Lardo's Saloon, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service. You will create a dynamic bar environment that delivers an exceptional experience for our guests, ensuring that our drink menu is innovative and aligns with the overall vision of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:



Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage bar staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment focused on teamwork and exceptional service. Cocktail Development: Create and innovate cocktail recipes and drink specials that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies and ingredients, conducting regular stock takes, and minimizing waste. Customer Service: Ensure that all guests receive outstanding service, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of drink preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency in quality and flavor. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of alcohol and other ingredients. Sales and Promotions: Develop and implement strategies to increase beverage sales, including promotions, events, and collaboration with the kitchen on food and drink pairings. Financial Management: Assist in managing the bar budget, tracking expenses, and maximizing profitability. Collaboration: Work closely with the restaurant management team to align bar operations with overall restaurant goals and guest experience.

Qualifications:



Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role within a restaurant or bar environment Strong knowledge of mixology, craft cocktails, and beverage trends Excellent leadership and team management skills, including the ability to teach and effectively delegate tasks Ability to teach, correct, and oversee employees in all aspects, such as training, discipline, etc Exceptional customer service and communication abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service Certification in responsible alcohol service is preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
