Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience. This role is perfect for individuals with bar/serving experience who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a keen eye for detail.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including drink specials and food pairings, to provide excellent recommendations to customers. Operate Toast POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the bar area. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service. Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing outstanding customer service at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours. Stay updated on industry trends, beer, wine and cocktail recipes.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food safety practices. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment. Proficient in basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
