Job Description

The Arroyo Club in Highland Park, CA is looking for a bartender to join our small yet strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, friendly, and willing to learn. We are a hospitality first driven company with the desire to teach the right candidates the knowledge needed to succeed.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of Spirits, Wine, Beer & Classic Cocktails Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks with a sense of urgency. Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare measured craft cocktails Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications

3+ years in a volume restaurant/bar Excellent knowledge of Classic cocktails Knowledge of Spirits to make recommendations Positive attitude and Hospitality 1st approach Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
