Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Take orders from customers and process payments accurately using a cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices are followed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for customers
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or banquets
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and the ability to mix cocktails to customer specifications
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic retail math skills
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business
