Overview

We are seeking a friendly and experienced

Bartender

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a strong background in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety standards and hospitality best practices. The position offers opportunities to work in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, banquet events, and catering services.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling. Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining excellent time management skills. Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards during food handling and beverage service. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy hours. Assist with event setups such as banquets or catering functions when required. Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; process payments efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and retail math calculations. Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability is preferred.
