Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain sales records. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible drinking and compliance with alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to keep the bar fully equipped for service demands. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end. Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and responsible serving practices throughout your shift. Use your time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining excellent customer service. Assist in setting up for special events like nightclubs or private parties, ensuring all beverage stations are ready for guests.

Experience

Prior experience working as a bartender or in food service is highly preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing. Demonstrated ability in customer service roles within the food industry, retail math skills, and basic math proficiency are essential for accurate cash handling and sales tracking. Experience working in nightlife venues like nightclubs or hospitality settings such as catering or food industry events is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations is required. Strong time management skills are necessary to juggle multiple responsibilities during peak hours effectively.
