Overview


We are seeking an experienced and personable

Bartender

to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves serving drinks, managing POS systems, and ensuring an exceptional experience in various settings such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, banquet events, and catering functions. Prior experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be passionate about the food industry, hospitality, and providing outstanding service to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities



Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and customer preferences. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations, including proper food handling and responsible beverage service. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts. Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food delivery during banquets or catering events. Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or nightclub functions when needed. Demonstrate effective time management to serve multiple guests efficiently during busy hours.

Requirements



Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, including fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods seamlessly. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements. Previous experience in catering or food industry roles is a plus. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or special event hours as needed.
