Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and other essentials promptly to ensure smooth service flow Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering or banquet events to meet specific beverage needs Uphold food handling protocols and adhere to all health regulations to ensure guest safety Utilize time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods

Requirements

Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Knowledge of food safety standards, responsible alcohol service practices, and food handling procedures Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients Experience in serving at food industry establishments like restaurants or catering events is highly desirable Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that fosters guest satisfaction
