Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in the food and beverage industry. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be proficient in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, with strong time management and sales abilities to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Focus and Toast Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to meet guest needs Uphold food safety standards related to food handling and beverage preparation Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills in a busy environment such as nightclubs or fine dining establishments

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills Experience in food service, restaurant, or retail environments; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol service regulations Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing tabs efficiently Ability to work night shifts in fast-paced settings such as nightclubs or fine dining venues Experience with brewing or beverage preparation techniques is advantageous Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service Previous experience in catering or hospitality roles that require serving large groups or events
