Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a lively atmosphere and enhance their overall experience. Manage POS systems to process orders swiftly and accurately, including cash handling and credit card transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations. Taking deli orders, preparing these orders and serving the orders while following all food safety standards. Collaborate event coordinators during banquets, catering functions, or nightclub events to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cashiering duties such as processing payments and giving change. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies in both bar, deli and grocery store, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders when necessary. Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene throughout the bar area at all times. Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods and sharing best practices for serving excellence.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Square for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables, bar stations, deli orders, and grocery store simultaneously without sacrificing quality. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing procedures. Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while promoting responsible drinking practices. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or restaurants. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members across various service areas.
