We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your expertise in drink preparation and knowledge of food safety will contribute to an enjoyable experience for all guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction with their drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety practices. Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems while ensuring accurate record-keeping. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable, especially during catering events. Stay informed about new drink trends and menu items to enhance customer experience.

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment. Proficient in math for accurate cash handling and drink measurements. Experience in catering services is a plus, enhancing event-based beverage offerings. Knowledge of brewing techniques for crafting specialty drinks or beers is beneficial. Familiarity with food safety standards to ensure compliance in beverage preparation. Experience with Toast POS systems for processing transactions effectively. Excellent customer service skills to create positive interactions with patrons. Understanding of retail math principles as they apply to bar operations. Previous experience in restaurant or nightclub settings is preferred but not required.
