Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drink options confidently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties and balancing registers at shift end Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure seamless service throughout shifts Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and drink service Uphold responsible serving practices by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and adhering to legal regulations Assist in setting up bar stations for special events like nightclubs or private banquets, ensuring all equipment is ready Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by creating a welcoming environment for diverse guests Apply basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating bills, and managing retail math when necessary

Skills

Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings with strong serving skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order entry and cashiering Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy hours Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Experience in retail math, cash handling, and basic math calculations for accurate transactions Familiarity with food industry terminology related to brewing, catering, food service, and hospitality operations Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event shifts Knowledge of nightclub environment dynamics or banquet experience is a plus but not required
