Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to house recipes, traditional standards, and guest preferences Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience Manage multiple drink orders efficiently using a POS system Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages during busy periods Assist with food service when needed, including serving food items at bars or banquet events Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and beverage preparation Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours or special events like banquets or nightclub nights Uphold high standards of customer service by actively listening to guest needs and resolving any issues promptly Support catering functions by serving drinks at private parties or corporate events

Experience

Previous experience as a bartender in fine dining or craft cocktail bar is essential Experience jiggering required Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy shifts Experience working in the food industry with knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates a welcoming atmosphere Knowledge of basic math for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and accurate order processing Experience working in hospitality environments that require serving alcohol responsibly and ensuring guest safety
