Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly recommendations and engaging with guests to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies. Monitor guest behavior responsibly to promote a safe environment and adhere to all legal alcohol service regulations. Restock bar inventory as needed, tracking supplies to prevent shortages during busy hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS (Point of Sale) systems. Uphold all health and safety standards, including proper sanitation practices and responsible alcohol service protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that engages guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously. Knowledge of basic POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous. Must be at least 18 years old (or age required by local law) with valid certification for alcohol service if applicable. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support busy hours. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights when necessary.
