Job Summary:
The Customer Service Cashier will use cash registers, electronic scanners, and related equipment to conduct monetary transactions with customers. This job creates the initial caf\xc3\xa9 experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, making quality coffee and beverage, and maintaining a clean and comfortable cafe environment. Duties/Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Greets customers as they enter the location. \xc2\xb7 Accepts money in the form of cash, checks, and credit or debit cards for items purchased; validates checks. \xc2\xb7 Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies. \xc2\xb7 Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. \xc2\xb7 Ensures accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift. \xc2\xb7 Processes returns and exchanges according to store policy. \xc2\xb7 Identifies prices of products and services and tabulates bills with available equipment. \xc2\xb7 Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information. \xc2\xb7 Bag, box, and wrap purchased items. \xc2\xb7 Cleans and sanitizes front area equipment and restrooms \xc2\xb7 Performs opening and closing shift side work \xc2\xb7 Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: \xc2\xb7 Excellent customer service skills. \xc2\xb7 Good verbal communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, or scanners. \xc2\xb7 Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refunds. \xc2\xb7 Knowledgeable about company\xe2\x80\x99s products and services, and customer-related policies. \xc2\xb7 Ability to follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. \xc2\xb7 Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
Education and Experience:
\xc2\xb7 High school diploma or equivalent preferred. \xc2\xb7 Successful completion of on-the-job training. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $22.42 per hour Benefits:
