Counter Server / Barista

La Picante is a quick serve restaurant with counter service only. We offer a menu with a wide variety of food and beverage items(beverage items vary by location).

We are looking for a self-driven individual with a dynamic personality.

We are located in the Stamford Town Center and the SONO Collection in Norwalk.

Applicant Requirements:

Must be able to communicate in fluent English
Must be available during day hours (not a good fit for students)
Must be available year round (not seasonal)
Upselling is a must
Attendance compliant
Addition Skills Not Required:

Spanish Speaking
Barista Skills
*Food Safety Certificate

Hours:

*Arrival & Departure vary by location. 10am -7pm is typical

*Some weekend shifts

Responsibilities

-Utilize barista experience to prepare and serve high-quality beverages.
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process orders and transactions accurately.
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld in food preparation and handling.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in English and Spanish.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold standards as outlined.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
