We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-Time Barista/Cashier to join our vibrant cafe team. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to company standards Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate transactions Handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas following food safety guidelines Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries Manage order flow during busy periods to ensure timely service Restock supplies and ensure product displays are appealing and organized Follow food handling procedures and safety protocols at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed Uphold the cafe's standards for quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred; experience with coffee preparation is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required Prior experience in retail math, serving, or the food industry is beneficial but not mandatory
