Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating quality beverages in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions with customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
- Follow food safety standards and procedures
- Assist in stocking inventory and supplies as needed

Requirements

- Prior experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Aloha POS, is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Proficiency in using cash registers and handling cash transactions
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
