The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing beverages, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Prior experience in food service or coffee preparation is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated applicants. CLOSING SHIFT

at the shop which can range from 12 PM - 7 PM to 2 PM - 10 PM. Hours adjust during busy seasons (Summer & Holiday Schedule).

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks in accordance with company standards Operate POS system DRIPOS (we will train) efficiently for order processing and cash handling Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces following food safety guidelines Manage food preparation tasks including food handling, serving, and basic food safety practices Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including retail math and cashiering duties Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service and product delivery Assist in stock replenishment and inventory management as needed Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times Uphold standards of shop by being a team player, following shop protocol and being proficient in cleanliness checks, call-out procedures, team communication, and reliability.

Requirements

Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly desirable, but not required. Familiarity with retail/restaurant POS systems is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work during PM shifts, including evenings; including some weekend availibility Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
