Q Center is looking for a Part Time Barista to join our team!
Job Summary
The barista is responsible for making quality beverages and preparing food orders for guests in the Bistro. This position will interact with guests in a personable and service-oriented manner.
This position is on-site, with a varying schedule that can include days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The shift will typically be 6:00am - 2:30pm.
The rate for this position is $18.00/hour.

+ Customer service experience required and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
+ Food Handler certifications or equivalent.Physical Requirements
+ Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
+ Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
+ Ability to stand during entire shift.
+ Ability to withstand temperature variations both hot and cold.
+ Ability to read and follow standardized recipes.Fundamental Requirements
+ Associates must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests and fellow associates.
+ Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring their attention.
+ Perform preparatory tasks, opening/closing and side work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
+ Serve guests according to Q Center's standards in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
+ Respond to guest problems, complaints and accidents; communicate to management, if necessary.
+ Maintain all service area storerooms in a neat and orderly manner, stock with any and all appropriate supplies necessary for food service functions.
+ Follow all money handling procedures when serving the guest; taking credit and debit payments.
+ Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea and other specialty drinks, paying attention to allergies or preferences.
+ Prepare and serve food items.
+ Promte and recommend menu options.
+ Know the menu items and give accurate descriptions.
+ Maintain coffee machines, grinders and other equipment.
+ Keep the work environment and seating area clean, sanitary and organized.
+ Ensure overall guest satisfaction and safety is achieved.
