We are seeking a friendly and efficient full-time Barista or Cashier to join our vibrant cafe team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and handle daily cash and POS transactions with accuracy. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items following established recipes and standards Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, storage, and preparation Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred; familiarity with cafe operations is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience in coffee preparation, serving, or retail math is advantageous Reliable with a strong work ethic; flexibility to work full-time hours including weekends if required
