Arcadia Coffee is opening a cozy, welcoming cafe inside

Asbury Court Assisted Living Facility

-- a space designed to bring comfort, warmth, and community to both the residents who call Asbury Court home and the dedicated staff who work there. We are looking for friendly, reliable, and compassionate baristas to join our team.

About the Role

As a barista at Arcadia Coffee inside Asbury Court, you will provide exceptional service to

nurses, care staff, and the older adults living in the community

. This location serves only those who

live or work inside the facility

, making it a calm, intimate, and relationship-focused cafe environment.

You'll prepare Arcadia's signature drinks, assist with pastries and light food items, and offer a positive, uplifting experience to everyone who stops by.

What You'll Do

Prepare high-quality coffee, matcha, teas, and Arcadia specialty drinks Provide warm, patient, and attentive customer service Help older residents with placing orders, carrying items if needed, and ensuring they feel valued and cared for Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace Restock supplies, pastries, and products throughout the day Communicate clearly and calmly during busy periods Follow all food-handling and safety guidelines Represent Arcadia Coffee's values of

kindness, positivity, and community

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

Has barista or cafe experience (preferred, but we will train the right person!) Genuinely enjoys talking to people, especially seniors Is patient, kind, and able to create a comforting environment Stays calm under pressure and works well independently Is dependable and punctual Is Food Handler certified/ Food manager certified (or willing to get certified before starting)

Availability

Morning and afternoon shifts available Weekday availability preferred Must be comfortable working inside an assisted-living environment

Pay

$14 an hour plus tips
