Pj's Coffee Of New Orleans in Harahan, LA is looking for one barista to join our

afternoon

team. We are located on 5359 Mounes St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.


Responsibilities

Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs Maintain a clean and tidy work area Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers regularly and professionally Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sales (POS) system Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences



Qualifications

Previous working experience as a barista is preferred, but not a requirement!

We are willing to train the right person!

High integrity with a great attendance record Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume periods Ability to listen and communicate effectively Basic math skills to cash handling and retail math calculations Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
