Now Hiring: Part-Time Barber Instructor

Location:

Empire Barber School - 7516 E Main St, Ste 7, Mesa, AZ 85207

Hours:

Flexible, 10-20 hours per week

Pay:

$18 - $20 per hour (based on experience)

Empire Barber School is dedicated to shaping the next generation of skilled barbers. We emphasize hands-on training, industry knowledge, and professionalism. Our goal is to help students not only master their craft but also prepare for successful careers.

Job Responsibilities:

Teach and demonstrate barbering techniques, including cutting, styling, shaving, and sanitation practices. Provide guidance on state board exam preparation. Ensure students follow Arizona state barbering regulations and safety standards. Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Assist in maintaining a positive and professional learning environment.

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed barber instructor in Arizona

(or willing to obtain instructor certification which we can provide). If you do not have your instructor license we will discuss how to get it in the interview through Empire Barber School.

Minimum

2 years of professional barbering experience

Passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring barbers.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds and skill levels.
