Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and providing excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Assist bartenders with stocking supplies and preparing garnishes. Support food service operations by assisting with food preparation and bussing tables. Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety standards. Assist in banquet service and catering events as needed. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.

Skills

Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a tidy work environment. Experience in food preparation and handling within the food industry. Familiarity with POS systems Previous experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking. Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality roles is advantageous. Cash handling experience is essential for managing transactions accurately.
