ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following:
Interact positively and effectively with guest and co-workers
Take drink orders and process accurate POS transactions
Keep garnishes fresh and stocked
Keep par levels of all liquor and bar supplies
Stock, clean and rotate products as needed in all beverage areas
Stock Liquor Cage with incoming products, keep area clean and inventory
Assist Bartenders and Cocktails in keeping bar and lounge clean and organized
Keep work area in compliance with health regulation and department procedures
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICAT
ION REQUIREMENTS
:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of standard drink recipes
Knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
Knowledge of bar equipment
Knowledge of Nevada health and alcohol regulations
Requires the ability to follow directions from a supervisor
Requires the ability to follow directions and procedures
Strong organizational skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 6 months' experience working in a Bar environment preferred. Knowledge and ability to use POS and MICRO systems, preferred.
AGE and CERTIFICATIONS:
21 years of age or above
Southern Nevada Health Card
Alcohol Awareness Training Card
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and understand a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral. Fluency in English required. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense judgement to complete a variety of tasks as assigned.

Reports directly to the Beverage Supervisor. The Barback's primary role is to provide support to the Bartenders; keep bar supplies stocked, inventoried and clean. Employee is required to maintain a Health Card, Alcohol Awareness Card. Requires dependable, punctual attendance and be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
