Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic

Barback

to support our busy nightclub and hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will assist bartenders and staff by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth service operations. This role is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring efficient bar and restaurant functions. Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related fields such as banquet, catering, or hotel environments is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, customer service, and bar operations within a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Assist bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure smooth service during shifts Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and work surfaces Bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or dishes from guest areas to uphold cleanliness standards Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic garnishing or assembling of drinks and snacks Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and order processing Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations in all activities Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces for banquets, catering functions, or special events Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously Support the overall hospitality experience by maintaining a clean, organized work environment

Skills

Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, bars, hotels, or catering services Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS preferred Experience with food handling, food preparation, and beverage service techniques Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced nightclub or restaurant settings during night shifts Previous banquet experience or working in a nightclub environment is a plus Skills in bussing, cleaning, and general kitchen support are desirable Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and professionalism Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Experience with barista tasks or serving roles is advantageous
