Job Description

Overview:

The Barback supports the bar team by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, organized,

clean, and prepared for high-volume service. This role is essential for maintaining

smooth bar operations and providing bartenders with everything they need to deliver

fast, efficient, and high-quality beverage service.

Key Responsibilities:

? Stock and replenish all bar products, including spirits, wine, beer, mixers,

garnishes, glassware, and tools

? Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups, ice, and bar setup items before service

? Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations, shelves, coolers, and

storage areas

? Assist bartenders during service by restocking items, clearing used glassware,

and ensuring steady ice supply

? Handle trash removal, recycling, and routine cleaning throughout service

? Check and rotate stock to maintain freshness and prevent waste

? Support bartenders in closing duties, including breakdown, restocking, sanitizing,

and prepping for the next shift

? Communicate inventory shortages or equipment issues to management

? Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-handling guidelines

Qualifications:

? Previous barback or back-of-house experience preferred but not required

? Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

? Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods

? Fast, efficient, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment

? Clear communication and teamwork skills

? Willingness to learn about spirits, cocktails, and bar operations

? Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
