Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and customer engagement.
Manage and train bar staff to ensure excellent service standards and adherence to safety protocols.
Handle inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock management, and minimizing waste.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Supervise shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts and optimal staffing levels.
Monitor quality control of food and beverages served, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
Implement staff training programs focused on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting related to bar operations.
Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food production and ensure seamless service delivery.
Lead efforts in team development through interviewing, hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and health regulations related to alcohol service.
Experience
Proven management experience in a food service or hospitality environment, preferably within a quick service & fast food restaurant or fine dining setting.
Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards.
Experience supervising staff in a restaurant or bar setting with demonstrated leadership skills.
Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety regulations.
Prior experience with casual dining or banquet environments is advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently.
