THE JOB:

As a Banquet Setup Utility Porter at The Cosmopolitan, you'll help bring events to life by expertly setting up, striking, maintaining, and cleaning meeting and event spaces to ensure every function runs seamlessly. With your warm smile, attentive service, and ability to anticipate guest needs, you'll create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the resort's signature style. Your efforts help shape unforgettable WOW moments that guests will remember long after their time with us.

THE STARTING RATE:

$27.0434 Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Stock and maintain back-of-house (BOH) storage areas, hallways and pantries, ensuring inventory levels are consistently met as well as keeping them clean and organized. This includes handling delivery and restocking of packaged snacks, condiments, beverages, paper products, and other essential items. Manage and replenish linen inventory and supplies in designated storage areas. Prepare and transport required equipment for event setups, such as but not limited to rolling tables, mini fridges, coolers, rolling walls, and tableware, as necessary. Breakdown and clean up function areas as scheduled, adhering to departmental procedures. Return reusable goods and equipment to specified storage locations. Pick up and deliver products from the warehouse or direct orders, following proper protocols for freight elevator use and delivery routes. Adhere to departmental standards, policies, and regulations, with a focus on observing all safety protocols.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

High School Diploma or GED preferred Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Must be 21 years of age or older Previous experience in Banquets as a Utility Porter, Bartender, or Food Server preferred
