Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Banquet Setup team member to prepare and arrange event spaces for various functions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and guest service, with experience in food industry settings. This role involves setting up tables, chairs, linens, and banquet supplies to ensure a seamless experience for guests attending events such as weddings, conferences, and corporate gatherings. Attention to detail, efficiency, and a positive attitude are essential to creating an inviting atmosphere that meets our high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Prepare banquet rooms according to event specifications, including setting tables, arranging chairs, and decorating spaces Ensure all banquet areas are clean, organized, and fully equipped prior to guest arrival Assist with food service setup when needed, including bussing tables and replenishing supplies Collaborate with catering and culinary teams to facilitate smooth event operations Maintain cleanliness of work areas during and after events in compliance with food safety standards Support guest relations by providing courteous assistance during events and addressing any special requests Follow safety protocols related to food handling, equipment use, and general hospitality procedures

Experience

Prior experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is preferred Culinary experience or banquet setup background is advantageous

Previous restaurant or hotel experience related to food service or event preparation is beneficial Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
