Overview

You will be responsible for serving food and beverages at various events, ensuring that every detail is executed flawlessly. We have holiday parties coming up in our banquet room. We have monthly wine tasting events that we often need servers for. This is a as needed job, may turn into a part time server job if needed and desired.

What you'll do

Deliver exceptional service by promptly serving food and beverages to guests during events. Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet areas, ensuring all equipment is in place and ready for service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation that meets our high standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas by bussing tables and clearing dishes efficiently. Engage with guests to enhance their experience, addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques throughout the event. Support catering operations by assisting in food preparation and ensuring all items are stocked and ready for service.

Basic qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards is important.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in banquet service or catering roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with coffee service or beverage management is a plus. Previous hotel experience can enhance your ability to cater to diverse guest needs.
