Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Banquet Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet events and catering services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The Banquet Manager will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for guests while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of banquet facilities.

Responsibilities



Coordinate and supervise all aspects of banquet events, including setup, service, and cleanup Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet high standards of culinary excellence Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure efficient team performance Monitor inventory control and food management to minimize waste and optimize resources Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all operations Collaborate with kitchen staff to oversee food production, catering arrangements, and bar service if applicable Supervise event logistics, including room setup, decoration, and equipment arrangements Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall management of banquet operations Lead by example in fostering a team-oriented environment focused on hospitality excellence

Experience



Proven management experience in food service management or hospitality management roles Extensive background in banquet operations, catering, or fine dining environments Strong supervisory skills with experience in staff training and development Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Experience supervising kitchen operations, event planning, or restaurant management is highly desirable Background in culinary arts or kitchen management is a plus Demonstrated leadership abilities in team management, training & development, and shift management Prior experience working in hotel or casual dining settings is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
