Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with members, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Manage inventory by tracking stock levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary, especially during catering events. Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for guests. Experience in bartending or related fields such as hospitality or restaurant service is preferred. Knowledge of retail math for managing cash transactions effectively. Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices in a bar setting. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly in nightlife or nightclub settings. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
