Saratori's Pastry Shop is looking for a talented, motivated Bakery Manager and Cake Decorator to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who loves creativity, organization, and leadership in a family owned, team-oriented environment.

Position Overview

The Bakery Manager/Cake Decorator oversees daily bakery operations while decorating a range of styles of cakes, including custom designs. This role leads a small team of bakery assistants and decorators, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth, efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service both in-person and over the phone Create custom decorated cakes, including wedding cakes, tiered cakes, and fondant work Manage daily bakery operations and maintain clean, organized bakery cases Oversee inventory, track product levels, and order supplies Manage customer orders, including custom cake consultations and timelines Supervise bakery assistants and decorators Ensure consistent product quality and adherence to food safety standards Collaborate with management to plan seasonal items, displays, and specials

Qualifications

2+ years of professional cake decorating experience (wedding cakes & fondant required) Previous experience in bakery management or team leadership. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
